Comedian Marcus brings his brand of humor to the University of Wyoming Friday, Oct. 3.

Friday Night Fever hosts the free public show at 9 p.m. in the Gardens, located in the lower level of the Wyoming Union.

Marcus is a comedian, impressionist and a gifted singer who has toured throughout the country performing at comedy clubs, theatres and colleges. He appeared on NBC’s hit series “Last Comic Standing,” where he was selected runner-up.

The comedian also can be seen on YouTube in the series “Ghost Hopping,” which he hosts, directs and helps produce. The program tracks Marcus on tour, where he also finds interesting places to hunt for ghosts, making the show both comedic and frightening. Friday Night Fever, along with the Residence Hall Association, also will host three free showings of “Expendables 3” at 6:30, 9 and 11:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, in the Shoshone Room of Washakie Center.

“Expendables 3” continues the series when Barney (Sylvester Stallone) regroups his team to face-off against Conrad Stonebanks (Mel Gibson). However, Barney realizes he must recruit new, younger members in order to become more in touch with the times and become tech-savvy.
