Classic Rock On Campus

The classic rock band The Flashbacks will perform for the University of Wyoming Summer Programs concert series Wednesday, July 16, from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. at Simpson Family Plaza.

The Flashbacks are a Laramie cover band known for lively performances, natural talent and a selection of favorite hits. Combined, the band members have more than 100 years of experience performing rock ’n’ roll music from every decade. Most band members play multiple instruments, and everybody sings.

“This provides a wealth of opportunity in terms of instrumentations and harmonies, allowing us to cover music from artists as diverse as Steely Dan, Supertramp, Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles, John Mellencamp, Fleetwood Mac and dozens of others,” according to the band’s website.
