Prizes, including a specialized mountain bike and television set, will be awarded during Friday Night Fever’s bingo night Nov. 7 at 9 p.m. in the University of Wyoming Union Ballroom.

The event is free and open to all students, but students must be present to win.

The movie “The Giver” also will be shown the same night at 6:30, 9 and 11:30 p.m. in Wyoming Union Family Room. “The Giver” is a film adaptation of Lois Lowry’s book of the same name. Centered on a young man learning about the realities of the world, the film is set in a dystopian world where everything appears perfect. Jonas will learn from an old man called “The Giver” and the truth about human nature, pain, misery and sadness. After realizing these truths, Jonas must face the harsh realities of the fake world he is living in.

Friday Night Fever is seeking UW student volunteers. If interested, email FNF@uwyo.edu or stop by the group’s meetings each Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in the Campus Activities Center office, located in the lower level of the Wyoming Union.
