To thank the Laramie community for its continued support, University of Wyoming students will volunteer to work on a variety of community service tasks during the second annual Big Event Saturday, Oct. 11.

The event begins at 9 a.m. the Wyoming Union, and students will then divide up to do volunteer work throughout the Laramie. Students are available for such tasks as raking leaves, cleaning gutters, painting, yard work, general cleaning activities and other chores.

Big Event organizers are seeking community members and organizations to submit requests, and students to serve. The event is free to the Laramie community.
