The Question:

What is the area on the corner of Garfield and 1st in the parking lot that is a fenced in pad about 5 feet by 16 feet? The sign says it is paid for by the 1 cent tax.

The Answer:

“The concrete pad in question is the future site of a large sandstone sculpture/edifice that was originally located on the entrance to the U.S. Post Office that was located at 3rd and Ivinson. The sculpture/edifice was donated to the City by the Stickley family children for public display in downtown Laramie. The sculpture/edifice will be set on the fenced concrete pad in late July.”
