ACSD#1 Approves Emergency Measure to Close Schools

Albany County School District #1 school board has decided to close schools through Friday, April 3.

Even though the school approved the emergency recommendation from Governor Gordon and Superintendent of Public Instruction to close schools through April 3, 2020, they will be revisiting this issue and taking formal action on Wednesday evening, March 18, at 5 pm.

In addition to the information presented, the school board will also consider recommendations from local health officials and community agencies prior to making a final decision to close schools through April 3, 2020.

In the event that ACSD#1 closes schools, the school district will not be providing educational services for at least the next two weeks.
