ASCD#1 Schools Operating on 2-Hour Delay Tuesday
Due to another expected brutally cold start to the day, Albany County School District #1 schools will start two hours later than normal on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
"This delay allows time for temperatures to rise before students commute to school and busses time to warm up," the district in a media release on Monday afternoon said.

Parents are encouraged to have their children dress in layers for extra warmth.
Schools will release at normal times at the end of the day.
