Watch “Continuous Momentum” at UW November 15th-20th!

The University of Wyoming's Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane dance company 2011-2012 Eminent Artist in Residence project will culminate with the dance performances of “Continuous Momentum: The Works of Bill T. Jones. Performances will take place on the UW Fine Arts Main Stage and will run from November 15-20th.

Performances on the 15th-19th will begin at 7:30 p.m. The performance on November 20th will begin at 2:00 p.m.  Tickets prices are $14 for thegeneral public, $12 for seniors and $10 students. Performed by UW students, "Continuous Momentum" features four pieces from the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company (BTJ/AZ) repertory, including "D-man in the Waters," "Continuous Replay," "Duet," and "Power/Full."

The pieces, were reconstructed this fall at the University of Wyoming by BTJ/AZ teaching artists Catherine Cabeen and Nicole Smith. The pieces themselves represent several different phases of the company’s work. A tour of the repertory concert is scheduled for December 9 - 13, with tour locations that include Torrington, Gillette, Sheridan, Lander, Riverton, Powell, and Rock Springs.
