The Wyoming Game and Fish Department stocked large rainbow trout in Crystal and Granite reservoirs on December 3, 2014.

The annual Antelope Dash willbe held at Curt Gowdy State Park Saturday, August 16th starting at 6:30 a.m. Hike, jog, or race the 4-mile or 8-mile courses.

The ribbon was cut Wednesday night on the visitor center baring the name of the legendary broadcaster, family man and Wyoming native: Curt Gowdy.

To many of us, a summertime not spent on the water, is a poorly spent summertime. Within the city limits of Laramie, there are not any lakes or ponds that are good for swimming or boating, but there are a good amount of indoor and outdoor pools. Places to swim are good, because swimming is, to many, a necessity to the summer, but to many of us, pools just don't cut it in the summer months.

Get those kids out from behind the TV, off the computer, and actually have them set down the video game controller this weekend for a free day of fun at Curt Gowdy State Park. The Wyoming Kids Xtreme Summer Outdoor Slam is Saturday, June 2, from 10AM to 3PM.

Early this coming Saturday at Curt Gowdy State Park, an estimated 150 people will gather to participate in the second annual running of the Antelope Dash.  Participants will complete either a 4 mile or 8 mile course on the trails there, starting at the Aspen Grove Trailhead.  Some will come for a leisurely hike through the rugged trails that feature pines, aspens, streams, and rock formations.  Ot

Going fishing with your dog or dogs is mostly only asking for trouble. They of course have a great time and you wish they just stay out of the water for 5 minutes. It's like I'm trying to kill two birds with one stone taking the dogs on a long hike and catch dinner in the process.  This theory has actually only worked once, guess that's why I keep doing it.
