Peter and Lynne Simpson, owners and producers of Spontaneous Theater Productions, will be presenting an American classic drama, "Our Town" on Feb. 25,26 & 27 in St. Matthews Cathedral.  The Simpsons ,who have been acting, directing and sponsoring theatrical events for the past 50 years of their marriage, are excited about their last project in Laramie.  Pete will play the famous role of the "stage manager", while Lynne will direct. 

 
Other members of the company include community and University members including Lynn Broughton, Klaus Hanson, Mike Massie, Walt Hammontree, Joe Arnold, Jamie Egolf;  John O'Hagan, Peter Parolin, Stephanie Long, Pete Gaddis and introducing two scholarship theater students, Scott Trout and Kat Cordes;  costumes and lighting by Billie Gross and Larry Hazlett.
 

The play is very popular, being produced somewhere in America every day. The last production of "Our Town" in Laramie in the 1940's at Laramie High School. This production will emphasize the universal themes of daily life, love and marriage, and the importance of being aware of the preciousness of each moment while we experience it.
