A Cheyenne man who fled to Nebraska after allegedly shooting a 19-year-old in the head and dumping his body in a reservoir on the Wyoming Hereford Ranch has been extradited back to Laramie County to stand charges.

Armando Ramirez-Serna made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court this (Wednesday) morning.

The 21-year-old is charged with first-degree murder, aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, first-degree arson and concealing a felony. If convicted, he could face the death penalty.

According to an affidavit, Ramirez-Serna allegedly shot Justin Robinson in the 7600 block of Braehill Road on Nov. 26 after a marijuana deal went sideways.

He then reportedly called 17-year-old Angelo Trujillo, who allegedly drove with him to the 5300 block of Burlington Trail Road and helped him burn Robinson's SUV and dispose of his body.

Ramirez-Serna was arrested in Kimball, Nebraska on Dec. 2 after a tip led authorities to the hotel he was staying at.

Ramirez-Serna is being held in the Laramie County Jail without bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 20 at 1:30 p.m.
