Central City Opera to Play a FREE Concert at the Laramie Civic Center

2011 marks the 15th year for Central City Opera's award-winning touring program and the 8th year of collaboration with University of Colorado-Boulder.  The 2011 tour of "Opera Rocks the Rockies" runs November 5 through November 12, 2011 throughout northern Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska. The Opera will be in Laramie Thursday, November 10th at 7:30 PM in the Laramie Plains Civic Center Theatre. The show is completely FREE, but the theatre will accept donations at the door if you would like to give to the Civic Center Foundation.

"Opera Rocks the Rockies" is a 90 minute concert with intermission featuring staged scenes featuring a mix of romantic and comic scenes from opera and musical theatre.
