Your Question:

During the winter months which streets does the city plow vs the state? Also can you request to have a certain street plowed?

The City's Answer:

WYDOT plows east Grand Avenue from Blue Bird to the Interstate and occasionally as far as Wal-Mart. WYDOT plows 3rd Street from the Interstate south and from Curtis north. They sometimes plow Snowy Range and Riverside from the Interstate west as their trucks go out on 130 & 230. Sometimes the City will plow Snowy Range and Riverside. WYDOT plows Curtis Street from the Interstate to 3rd St. The City  applies ice melter to the river bridge on Curtis Street and the railroad viaduct on Curtis as needed. All other streets that get plowed are completed by the City. People can request to the City for plowing and the request will be evaluated.  Generally , the City only plows the collectors & arterials and streets that have drifting problems.
