Wyoming’s Favorite Christmas Cookie Has a Secret Ingredient
'Tis the season for cookies!
Don't you love this time of year? Family, the Christmas spirit and endless amounts of cookies paired with hot coffee. I'm such a happy and content little camper around this time of year. And recently I got to thinking, which holiday cookie doe we love the most at Christmastime. There are so many options out there besides sugar cookies.
I found a list on The Spruce Eats of the 50 States of Christmas Cookies.
For Wyoming, it's a Cake-Like Chocolate Chip Cookie. Who doesn't love an ooey-gooey chocolate chip cookie? What's different about this one is the secret ingredient of sour cream. Believe it or not, sour cream is used a lot in baking to keep things super moist. That moisture gives these cookies an almost cake-like consistency making them ooey-gooey and super tender.
What kind of Christmas cookie is your favorite?
