The Wyoming State Board of Education (SBE) will be discussing the Statewide System of Support (SSoS) and options for convening a professional judgment panel at its regularly-scheduled meeting starting at 9 a.m. on January 20, 2022.

The board will also hold a work session on evaluating the current process used for reviewing and revising state standards.

The board will continue the discussion from its November meeting on the Statewide System of Support. Along with this, the board will receive information on the inclusion of the new state science standards on the spring 2022 administration of the state assessment.

The remainder of the board meeting will be a work session to develop a plan for the evaluation of the process currently in use for reviewing and revising state standards.

Public comment will be accepted regarding the state standards review process at the opening and closing of the January 20 meeting. Written comments may also be made during, or in advance of the meeting here.

This will be a hybrid meeting, in-person with a virtual option. The in-person meeting will be at the University of Wyoming - Casper Campus, 125 College Drive #163, Room UU322 in Casper. The public can attend virtually by registering in advance for the meeting here.
