Applications are now available for the 3rd annual Wyoming Kids Xtreme Cave Exploration Adventure at Sinks Canyon State Park in Lander, Wyoming. The 3rd annual event will take place on August 13th.  Through the program kids get a chance to do real cave exploring! The event is safe and loads of fun for both kids and parents! Tours of Sinks Canyon Cave will be conducted by employees of the state park.

Sarah Trembly, an intern at the park says exploring a real cave is an experience that not many people in Wyoming get to have. She says…

“There aren’t really a lot of places where you can just go on a cave tour and so, just the fact that it’s here in Sinks Canyon and you have certified Parks staff taking you down there and it’s really safe…it’s a great experience that you probably aren’t going to get again.”

If interested in participating in the unique experience go to wyoparks.org and fill out an application. All applications need to be submitted by August 11th. After the applications are accepted those participating will be notified of their time slot for the cave exploration!
