WYDOT to Tear Down Clark Street Signal

The signal at 3rd and Clark will be taken down on Wednesday, August 29th, weather permitting.

The project is part of the proccess in the removal of the former Clark Street bridge, which has since been replaced by the Harney viaduct. After the signal is taken down, stop signs will be placed on Clark Street. "Drivers and pedestrians should be prepared for the change" wrote WYDOT District 1 Public Information Specialist Matt Murphy in a press release.

The demolition of the old Clark Street bridge will continue after Labor Day.
