Travelers wanting to enter I80 Westbound from south Third Street will need to be aware of a detour tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 4.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation and EnviroServe will have crews working at the site for spill cleanup and soil remediation.

The northbound right free lane entrance will be closed, and travelers will be redirected to the hard right entrance.

The project is expected to last one day with regular lane travel on Thursday, though all WYDOT projects are subject to change, including due to inclement weather and material availability.

WYDOT encourages motorists to slow down, obey traffic control, follow at a distance, and avoid distractions like cell phones while moving through construction zones.

EnviroServe is a company specializing in removing environmental contaminants caused by events such as oil spills, truck rollovers, train derailments, etc. Remediation is necessary if a contaminated area creates the risk of environmental damage or a risk to the health of individuals.
