Setting the record straight about the city council’s vote for the Wyoming Association of Municipalities conference was one of many topics Laramie Mayor Joe Shumway addressed in his recent radio interview.

Mayor Shumway wanted to clarify what transpired in their most recent two council meetings, and explain how Laramie is back on board for submitting an application for hosting the WAM summer conference in 2020.

In addition, Mayor Shumway also discussed the latest with possible changes to the alcohol ordinance; the city’s plan for infrastructure and road maintenance coming off the 6th-cent tax renewal; he tried to answer some questions a few listeners had provided; and much more in the video above.

“Laramie Live on KOWB” radio morning show host David Settle visits with Mayor Joe Shumway or Vice-Mayor Pat Gabriel once a month for an update on major topics the Laramie City Council is discussing. The next visit will be with Vice-Mayor Gabriel in May.
