Visit the Tate Museum Lee Rex dig site near Lusk, Woming

Visit days will be held on Saturdays beginning June 18, 2011 and continuing every Saturday until the dig is completed. We anticipate being at the dig site through July 15, 2011, but you will want to call the Tate Geological Museum at 268-2447 to confirm that the dig is still in progress after July 9.

In order to participate in the dig visit, meet at the Lady Bird Rest Area 2 miles west of Lusk, WY at 10:00 a.m. This is approximately 100 miles east of Casper on US-18/US-20. See more specific location on map below. A representative from the crew will meet you at the rest area and lead you to the Lee Rex site. If your vehicle has low clearance, you might want to car pool out to the site (only the last quarter mile is rough, and it can be walked).
