The University of Wyoming's Art Museum has made its four traveling exhibitions of original artwork available to organizations both in and out of state. The four exhibitions are tailored for venues such as Community centers, libraries, galleries, schools and museums. Each exhibition has its unique interpretation of art.

The exhibition entitled "Through the Looking Glass: The Portrait of the Artist" delves into the expressionism of self portraits of artists through a variety of mediums. The exhibition is full for the fall with appearances in Torrington, Jackson, Rock Springs and Lander. The schedule in the spring, however, is open.

The exhibition also illustrates a technique in which Grade” created called Strappo print. The technique involves the artist painting in reverse on a piece of glass, building up layers of paint to achieve the image, then finally transferring the image to a heavy print paper. The Kimonos exhibit can be scheduled now through 2015.

The third element of the exhibition is called the Botanical Series by photographers Gerald Lang and Jennifer Anne Tucker”. As the title of the exhibition clearly denotes, the artwork is tailored to botanical art tradition through the use of scanners and digital printers to convey the beauty of plants. This exhibition begins its tour in January and be scheduled now.

The final element of UW's Art Museum exhibition is entitled "An American Artist in China" by Cyrus Baldridge. The art work represents how the artist's adapted his style while in Asia with a more free flowing approach. An American Artist in China" is set to premiere at UW's Art Museum next summer and is available for scheduling next fall.
