UW Held Pi Day Competition For Undergrads

For the past month, a group of University of Wyoming students have been participating in the first-ever Pi Day Competition

It is a series of weekly mathematical problems for which students provided solutions. The problems ranged over various topics to appeal to the different majors represented by the student participants.

The Pi Day Competition was hosted and sponsored by the UW Department of Mathematics and Statistics and was a homage to the number pi, which is approximately 3.14.

The competition ran from March 14-April 13.
