Unmarked Laramie County Sheriff’s Car Stolen

Authorities are looking for the person or persons who stole an unmarked Laramie County Sheriff's Department car sometime between 10 p.m. last night and 7 a.m. this morning.

Captain Linda Gesell says someone broke the driver's front window out of the car, which was parked at an off-duty detective's house in the 2100 block of Cheyenne Place, and stole it.

The vehicle is a white 2011 Chevy Impala with Wyoming license plates 5-17599.  There was a department issued AR-15 and shotgun in the trunk, as well as three extra AR-15 gun magazines.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the Laramie County Sheriff's Department or the Cheyenne Police Department.
