Two Cheyenne men are behinds bars after being picked up for their fourth DUI in five years.

Cheyenne Police arrested 44-year-old Kenneth Stoddard in the 900 block of W. Pershing last night.

"He was in his vehicle drinking," said Officer Dan Long. "He was in the driver's seat with the keys in the ignition, so that's physical control of the vehicle."

Stoddard also had a warrant for failure to pay and was cited for driving without an interlock device.

29-year-old Duane Petersen, III was arrested early this morning after police pulled him over near the intersection of E. Lincolnway and College Drive.

"He was unable to maintain his lane of travel," said Long. "They ran him through maneuvers and he didn't pass."

Long says Petersen also "had a few priors from Florida."

A fourth DUI offense within five years is a felony in Wyoming. The two men face up to a $10,000 fine and a maximum of 7 years in prison if convicted.
