Town Hall Presented by UW Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
The University of Wyoming's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will be sponsoring a town hall titled "Black Fatigue and Being Committed Allies for Systemic Change.”
This event is scheduled for Tuesday, November 10, at 1:30 pm.

The town hall is based on the book “Black Fatigue: How Racism Erodes the Mind, Body and Spirit” by Mary-Frances Winters. There will be free books available for participants.
The panelists for this town hall are:
- Mohammed Bey, the diversity and inclusion director at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
- Nicholas Crane, a UW assistant professor in the School of Politics, Public Affairs and International Studies, and chair of the UW Black Lives Matter/Systemic Racism subcommittee.
- Ty-Ron Douglas, an associate professor of educational leadership and policy analysis at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
- DaNine Fleming, an associate professor and director of training and intercultural education at the Medical University of South Carolina.
- Moderator Emily Monago, UW chief diversity officer in the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
- Lay-nah Blue Morris-Howe, a UW assistant professor in the School of Counseling, Leadership, Advocacy, and Design.
- Rachel Ratliff, a UW doctoral candidate in the School of Counseling, Leadership, Advocacy, and Design.
