The time has come for the University of Wyoming's Gala Benefit Ball! This marks the 18th year that UW has held the annual event. The 18th annual "Gala 2011: Fiesta!" will be held this Saturday, November 5th at 6pm in the Wyoming Union Yellowstone Ballroom. This is a great opportunity to show your support while enjoying a wonderful evening full of great people, food and excellent music!

Laramie artist Travis Ivey has began work on the third installation in the Laramie Mural Project, an extension of the UW Art Museum's public art exhibition “Sculpture: A Wyoming Invitational.” Ivey's mural “Hollyhock Haven” will be located between 1st & 2nd Streets on Custer Street.

If you were blind, what would you most like to see? Insight into that question can be granted at the “Circle of Light” photo exhibition in the University of Wyoming Union. The featured photos were taken by people who received eye transplants to regain their vision.
