The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning southeast Wyoming residents to brace for strong winds and elevated fire danger over the next few days.
The agency says winds of up to 65 miles per hour are possible over the next few days, including on the summit between Cheyenne and Laramie:
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service has posted a Fire Watch for Friday afternoon that includes the city of Laramie and much of the surrounding area.
Far western Laramie County is also included in the watch area.
