It was a remarkable day in Wyoming high school sports history last Friday, as fastpitch softball made its debut.

Both Laramie High School basketball teams had their season end on Thursday with losses at the 4A Southeast Regional Quadrant tournament in Cheyenne.

The Laramie boys' basketball game at Cheyenne East was called off in the middle of JV action on Wednesday at Storey Gym in Cheyenne.

The Laramie Plainsmen lost their first-round Class 4A playoff game at top-seed and top-ranked Cheyenne East on Friday night, 49-7.

East quarterback Graedyn Buell was unstoppable in this game.

Isaac Sell ran for a career-high 257 yards but it wasn’t enough, as Cheyenne East beat Laramie for the fifth straight time, 56-13, on Friday.
