Taco John’s and Jonah Bank Raising Money for Suicide Prevention
Taco John’s and Jonah Bank of Wyoming, along with partner Grace for 2 Brothers, will be heading the efforts to raise money for suicide prevention throughout the month of May.
Wyoming’s suicide rate has increased 34% since 2001. To combat this, these three organizations, along with many others, are aiming to change this grim statistic.
From May 1-31, guests can go to any participating Taco John’s location and purchase a yellow paper ribbon for any dollar amount they choose, whether you’re dining in the restaurant or picking up food in the drive-through. Taco John’s will include your name, or that of a loved one, and hang the donation ribbon in their dining rooms.
During this same timeframe, Jonah Bank of Wyoming will be collecting donations at their four locations
Grace for 2 Brothers, Jonah Bank, and Taco John’s encourage everyone who may be contemplating harming themselves to reach out to any of these organizations, who are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week:
