Supreme Court Overturns Bohling Convictions
The Wyoming Supreme Court has overturned the felony convictions of former Albany County Attorney Richard Bohling.
Bohling’s attorney Linda Devine said the four obtaining property by false pretenses convictions have been overturned by the Supreme Court.
In the opinion published by Wyoming Supreme Court, the court said there was insufficient evidence to sustain Bohling’s convictions for the crime of obtaining property by false pretenses.
A jury found Bohling guilty in November 2015 of the felonies.
Bohling was also convicted of a misdemeanor for official misconduct, which the Supreme Court did not overturn.
