Domestic Call Leads to Felony Arrest in Laramie
On March 13 around 12:41 in the morning, Laramie Police Officers were called to investigate a report of domestic which occurred in the 300 block of South 15th Street.
As a result of the investigation, 29-year-old Cody Dalton was arrested and charged with Burglary and two additional misdemeanors.
According to Wyoming Statute 6-3-301(a), a person is guilty of burglary if, without authority, he enters or remains in a building, occupied structure or vehicle, or separately secured or occupied portion thereof, with intent to commit theft or a felony therein.
Burglary is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than ten years, a fine of not more than ten thousand dollars, or both.
All of these charges are merely accusations and the subject is considered innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
