It's two games this weekend, not one as it may state on the schedule for the Laramie Plainsmen.

After picking up a game about three weeks ago, the Laramie Plainsmen (8-8, 3-1) will take on both Casper high schools in boys basketball action this weekend.

Tonight, they pay a visit to the "Orange Dungeon" at Natrona County High School in Casper and face-off against the 5th-ranked and 2-time defending 4A State Champion Mustangs. Laramie was short two games on their schedule for this season and found a date where they could pick up a game versus NC.

These two teams haven't met since the first game of the 2009-2010 season in Cheyenne at the McDonald's Classic. This is also Laramie's first trip to NCHS in well over a decade.

Game time is set for 7 pm in Casper.

Laramie will then be at home Saturday for a more important match-up, as they have a conference game against the Casper Kelly Walsh Trojans (0-17, 0-4).

The Plainsmen, who lead the 4A East Conference, have been preparing all week for this game against the win-less Trojans. Laramie swept both meetings last season versus KW.

Game time is at 3:30 pm Saturday at the LHS gym.

You can listen to both boys games on KOWB (AM 1290), with David Settle and VerDon Hoopes calling the action. Tonight's broadcast will start at 6:15 pm, with Saturday's game coverage slated to begin at 2:45 pm. If you can't listen on your radio, you can listen on-line. To hear our live stream coverage go to www.network1sports.com/station/kowb. Then a couple of clicks will get you listening live on-line.

The 4th-ranked Laramie Lady Plainsmen (12-4, 1-3) play just one game this weekend. They travel to Casper and take on the Kelly Walsh Lady Trojans (4-13, 0-4). Game time is at 3:30 pm.

Coach Rod Tyson's squad is banged up. He told me Thursday that they've been limited to six or seven girls most of the week in practice thanks to a few injuries and some sickness.
