New Leadership Arrives at Medicine Bow Technologies
Local IT company Medicine Bow Technologies (MBT) named their new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) earlier this month after a search.
Toby Schaef was confirmed as the company's new CEO on December 7th, 2017. Schaef had been serving as the interim CEO since August 2017 and has been working for the company since 2014 when he was hired as the Director of Field Operations.
Medicine Bow Technologies was founded back in 2006, and started as a division of Ivinson Memorial Hospital. Shortly after, MBT and its 11 employees moved into the business incubator at the Wyoming Technology Business Center, located on Harney Street.
MBT left the incubator in 2011, and moved to their current offices on Beech Street. They currently have 40 employees and serve more than 100 customers. The company also has offices in Casper and Cheyenne. MBT's Chief Development Officer Shaun Bullock said of the Wyoming-based company that "We try to hire within the state and promote within the business.
Bullock also talked about operating in the Laramie community, adding that "it's a very tight-knit community" and that "We like seeing our friends and clients excel at their IT endeavors."
