Laramie-Based Medicine Bow Technologies Adds Leadership Roles
Laramie’s Medicine Bow Technologies announced today the addition of two new leadership roles in the company.
Shaun Bullock, former director of operations for the company, was appointed the new chief business development officer. Toby Lynn Schaef, the former director of field operations, has taken on the role of chief operating officer, according to a MBT news release.
Bullock joined MBT in 2015 and prior to being appointed chief business development officer, he was responsible for leading MBT’s Laramie operations team.
"Shaun has real talent," says Luke Schneider, CEO of MBT. "He is amazing with clients, he loves working with customers and he really understands the vision and rural healthcare and rural IT."
In his previous role, Schaef provided account and project management for clients in the healthcare, government, education and business arenas. As chief operating officer, Schaef will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business.
"Toby worked at the hospital in Rawlins and MBT worked with him while he was at the hospital and he was one of the most talented individuals I have ever worked with," Schneider said. "We brought him in in order to grow the company. He has a knack for project management and he is a real advocate for technicians."
Schneider said MBT needed Bullock and Schaef in leadership roles to help sustain the significant growth of the company over the last six months.
"We are looking to expand, into Colorado and other areas of Wyoming where we do not currently have a presence," Schneider said. "We need these two in leadership roles to help continue that growth."
Schneider said he is excited about the direction the company is taking, and his goal is to keep providing jobs in Wyoming.
"We have jobs open right now," Schneider said.
MBT is a technology company focusing on IT managed services. It was founded in 2006 by the Ivinson Memorial Hospital board of directors to provide the hospital and the regional health industry with a sustainable IT support provider. The company’s success in the healthcare industry allowed MBT to expand to serve businesses, government entities and schools as well.
