RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) — Minor flooding is occurring along parts of the Wind River in central Wyoming because of melting mountain snow and rainfall.

The Wind River near Crowheart is expected to fluctuate around the flood stage of 10.0 feet through Tuesday morning and hover a little over flood stage of 9.0 feet at Riverton through Tuesday.

Minor, low-lying flooding is occurring or expected along the Wind River from near Crowheart to downstream of Riverton.

In south-central Wyoming, the North Platte River at Saratoga in Carbon County has been rising and is expected to exceed flood stage of 8.5 feet Tuesday afternoon, causing minor flooding.
