A 39-year-old man is facing several charges after allegedly robbing a mobile home where authorities say a man was killed Tuesday night.

According to Laramie County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Capt. Linda Gesell, deputies on Wednesday stopped a white Chevy Trailblazer after getting a tip that the vehicle might have been involved in a crime.

Gesell says deputies found items in the car which they believed had been taken from a home where 35-year-old Micheal Robbins had allegedly been shot and killed by his roommate, 21-year-old Cody Hess early Tuesday morning. The address of the home is 4401 Avenue B-2.

Hess had been arrested after that incident and was incarcerated in the Laramie County jail.

The home burglary suspect, 39-year-old Matthew Laganiere, was also questioned about several car burglaries in the area. Investigators say they recovered several items from the Hess home in the vehicle.

Laganiere was arrested and booked on several charges, including interference with a peace officer, possession of methamphetamine, criminal entry, taking a controlled substance (heroin) into a detention facility, driving with a suspended license and burglary.

A 35-year-old woman, Latasha Gladden, was also arrested in connection with items taken in the car burglaries. Gesell says Gladden is so far not being charged in connection with the home burglary, but she is being charged with possession of stolen property.
