Laramie Police Identify Suspects in Recent $20K+ Crime Spree
Laramie police have identified four juveniles they say are to blame for the recent rash of vandalisms and burglaries around town.
Lt. Ryan Thompson says the foursome damaged more than 33 vehicles by throwing rocks at them, burglarized several vehicles, and egged numerous vehicles and houses, causing more than $20,000 worth of destruction.
"We are currently working with the County Attorney’s Office to bring proper charges," Thompson said Friday in a press release.
Thompson could not say whether the four, whose identities are being withheld because they are under 18 years of age, are the only ones believed to be responsible for the crime spree or if the department is looking for more suspects.
He says after making an initial report to the Laramie Police Department, victims of these crimes can contact the Albany County Victim Witness Program at 307-721-1845 or cvw@co.albany.wy.us for further assistance.
