Laramie Youth Charged with Manslaughter

At around 1:30 am on July 21, Laramie Police Officers were called to Thornburg for a report of a young male who had been shot.

A 14-year-old male was arrested and charged with Manslaughter after the officer's investigation.

The victim, who was 13, Was transferred to Ivinson Memorial Hospital, and then to a Dever hospital, where he died of his wounds.

As this is a juvenile matter, Court processes and sentencing will vary.

At this time, these charges are merely accusations and the Defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
