Laramie Woman Charged with Exploitation of a Vulnerable Adult
The Laramie Police Department reports that a 33-year-old Laramie woman has been charged with exploitation of a vulnerable adult.
On September 26, 2019, a Laramie police officer took a report from the Department of Family Services of the possible financial abuse of a vulnerable adult.
After a lengthy investigation, Stacee R. Cushatt was arrested and charged with Exploitation of a Vulnerable Adult on, November 16, 2019. Miss Cushatt posted a seventy-five hundred-dollar bond and has been released from the Albany County Detention Center.
Exploitation of a vulnerable adult is a felony punishable by not more than ten years in prison, a fine of not more than ten thousand dollars, or both, and registration of the offender’s name on the central registry.
At this time, these charges are merely accusations and the Defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
