Laramie Rotary Clubs Park Naming Ceremony on September 12

The Laramie Rotary Clubs and the City of Laramie will be hosting a park naming ceremony at the future location of the Laramie Rotary Clubs Park at Grand View Heights.

The event will be taking place on September 12 from 10-10:30 am near the intersection of Glacier Drive and Bill Nye Avenue in Grand View Heights.

The Laramie City Council approved a Memorandum of Understanding with the Laramie Rotary Clubs in June of 2019 outlining details of naming the future park Laramie Rotary Clubs Park at Grand View Heights.

Currently, the land is undeveloped and planned to be designed in beginning July 1, 2020, and will potentially be under construction in beginning July 1, 2022.

This event will include speakers from the Laramie Rotary Clubs and the City of Laramie, as well as a check presentation and park sign unveiling. Refreshments will be served.
