Laramie Resident Charged with Multiple Felonies
Shortly after 4 pm on January 15, 2021, Laramie Police Officers took a report of unauthorized purchases made with funds from a local business.
After the Officers’ investigation, Nichole Baker, a 32-year-old Laramie resident, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Theft
- Forgery
- Use of Another’s Credit Card
Baker remains in custody at the Albany County Detention Center.
Theft is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than ten years, a fine of not more than ten thousand dollars, or both if the value of the property is one thousand dollars or more.
Forgery is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than ten years, a fine of not more than ten thousand dollars, or both.
Use of another’s credit card is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than ten years, a fine of not more than ten thousand dollars, or both.
At this time, these charges are merely accusations and the Defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
