Laramie Resident Charged with Aggravated Assault and Battery

On May 14 around 1:51 am, Laramie Police Officers responded to the 200 Block of Grand Ave for the report of a male subject threatening others.

After the Officers investigation, William J. Knowlton, a 37-year-old Laramie resident, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault and Battery.

Bond has not yet been set for Mr. Knowlton and he remains incarcerated at the Albany County Detention Center.

At this time, these charges are merely accusations and the Defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
