Is there anything more iconic than cops...and donuts? The LPD doesn't think so. The Gem City's Finest are playing full force into the donut-loving theme today at the precinct, and they want all of Laramie to join in! I'm talking free F.R.E.E. donuts, courtesy of the LPD.

I know your mouth is watering just thinking about it. So here's how to snag that sweet treat today!

Laramie Police Department Celebrates National Donut Day!

The LPD posted on its Facebook page that the folks at the Police Department, in partnership with the Laramie Police Department Foundation, have delicious donuts to hand out to Laramie residents today.

How does one snag said delicious treat? First, seek a FREE DONUT COUPON at the Recreation Center, Animal Shelter, or Police Department. Then, after you acquire a coupon, head to the Police Department between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., give the boys in blue a cheerful wave (not required, but hey, why wouldn't you?), and grab a donut for yourself.

Super simple.

After munching on your donut, make sure to give the LPD and the foundation folks a big thank you for all the hard work they do to keep Laramie safe. And...say thanks for the donut, too, because manners matter.

Yesteryears of Historic Downtown Laramie Captured in Photos

Take a step into the past and discover the yesteryears of Laramie. Wyoming was one of the last states to join the Fifty Nifty, being number 44 in the Union. Laramie began its township journey in the 1860s, largely influenced by the construction of the Union Pacific Railroad and Fort Sanders.
