Klaus Halbsgut came into the Laramie Live studio to discuss his campaign for Albany County Commissioner.

On his website, Klaus states the following:

"I am running to be your next Albany County Commissioner.  Being the first independent candidate in Albany County In a long time or maybe ever, I have a unique opportunity to represent the citizens of Albany County, regardless of party affiliation. As a long-time resident & business owner, I understand the problems that face Albany County.

 

If elected, I will be free from any political parties' obligations to serve all the citizens of our county, including those who did not vote for me. I hope that I can work for you to make Albany County the place you want to call home. The partisan divide currently in our nation is tearing our nation apart, our politicians have forgotten who they work for. I promise to do the best I can for all the residents of Albany County. I know who it is I will be working for."
