
Laramie Motorists Warned To Brace For ”Chaos Day” On Friday
The Laramie Police Department is warning motorists to be ready for ''Chaos Day'' on Friday, August 15.
That is the day when University of Wyoming students will be moving into their dorms for the fall, 2025 semester.
Laramie Police posted the following on their Facebook page:

| August 29 | Last Day to Add Semester Classes |
| September 3 | Second Fall Billing (new charges or next installment due September 15) |
| September 3 | Last Day to Drop Semester Courses or Make Changes to Health Insurance Selection |
| September 5 | First Fall Financial Aid Disbursement |
| September 15 | All Fall Charges DUE, or First Installment due if enrolled in Payment Plan$50 non-refundable fee assessed for missed or late payments |
| October 3 | Third Fall Billing (new charges or next installment due October 15) |
| October 15 | Second Installment of Payment Plan DueHolds placed on accounts with missed or unscheduled installment payments |
| November 5 | Fourth Fall Billing (new charges or final installment due November 15) |

It looks like the weather won't be too bad for "Chaos Day" according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service Forecast for Laramie:: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 84. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north in the afternoon.
