Police contacted an employee who stated she wanted Alexis Anne McCafferty, who was in room 128, off the property.

Police contacted the 24-year-old McCafferty and she agreed to leave.

When police ran McCafferty's name, they found she had warrants out of Laramie County -- one for burglary and destruction of property signed by Circuit Court Judge Thomas Lee on Aug. 21, 2023, and one for possession of a controlled substance signed by Circuit Court Judge Antoinette Williams on Aug. 1, 2023.

Police say McCafferty also had suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, and marijuana in her possession.

McCafferty was subsequently arrested and booked into the Laramie County Detention Center without incident.

She's scheduled to make her initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court this afternoon, Sept. 21, at 2 p.m.

UPDATE:

McCafferty was seen on both warrants Thursday afternoon.

Her bond was set at $2,000 cash in the burglary and destruction of property case and $1,000 at 20% in the drug possession case.

Both her preliminary hearing and arraignment are scheduled for next Wednesday, Sept. 27, at 2:30 p.m.
