Halloween Fun Without the Trick-or-Treating

If you’re Halloweening for things other than candy, here’s your list. Hayrack rides, haunted houses, cocktail parties…pick your Halloween pleasure. Many events are kid-friendly, just not candy-centered. 

Friday, Oct. 27

Haunted House
Sigma Alpha Epsilon is hosting a haunted house, with proceeds donated to the Laramie Soup Kitchen. 

When: kids hours 6:30-8:30 p.m.; Spooky hours 9 p.m. - 2 a.m.
Where: 1621 Fraternity Row
Cost: $10 per person

Bond’s Costume Party
Live music and costumes. Bring your best look to win prizes. 

When: 7:30 p.m.
Where: Bond’s Brewing
Cost: FREE 

Ghost Tours of Laramie
Haunted history on a hayrack ride…the campfire tales of Laramie’s spooky past. Stop at various notorious locations, and hear tales from period-costumed volunteers.

When: 7-9 p.m.
Where: Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Site
Cost: $22 adults; $18/12 and under

Saturday, Oct. 28

Halloween at the Ivinson Mansion
Ivinson Mansion will be handing out candy and offering $2 tours of the mansion. 

When: 1-3 p.m.
Where: Ivinson Mansion
Cost: FREE/$2 tour optional

Join Love Laramie for a costumed jog downtown. Families and pets are welcome!
