Cheyenne Man Arrested in Fatal Stabbing, Investigation Ongoing

A 43-year-old Cheyenne man is behind bars after allegedly stabbing another Cheyenne man to death.

According to Laramie County Sheriff's spokesman Brandon Warner, deputies were called to the scene in the 2000 block of Mary Way at 7:27 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12.

"The victim was transported to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center prior to the arrival of deputies," said Warner. "(He) did not survive and was pronounced dead at the hospital."

Warner says Joseph Gish, the only suspect, was taken into custody at the scene.

Warner said he couldn't speak about Gish and the victim's relationship at this time.

Investigation Ongoing

"The investigation remains active, and more information will be provided as it becomes available," said Warner.
