65 MPH Gusts to Blast Much of I-25, I-80 in Southeast Wyoming

Truckers deadheading through southeast Wyoming tomorrow and Wednesday may have to pull aside to save their rides, as 65 mph wind gusts are expected to blast the area.

A High Wind Watch is in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday afternoon, which includes Interstate 25 between the Colorado state line and Glendo and much of Interstate 80 between Walcott Junction and Burns.

* IMPACTS...Mainly to transportation. Strong crosswinds will be
  hazardous to light weight or high profile vehicles, including
  campers and tractor trailers.

West winds will be sustained between 35 and 45 MPH with gusts up to 65 MPH. Use caution when driving light weight or high profile vehicles as there is a higher threat for blow-overs.
