3 Charged After CPD K-9 Sniffs Out More Than 1.7K Fentanyl Pills

Three Cheyenne residents are facing felony drug charges following a Friday night traffic stop.

According to arrest records, 45-year-old Lily Marie Bullis, 40-year-old Daniel Lee Ellis, and 66-year-old Raymond Paddock were headed east on Interstate 80 near the Interstate 25 interchange when a police officer stopped them for having expired tags.

During the traffic stop, Officer Lisa Koeppel arrived and deployed K-9 Tyler, who alerted on the vehicle.

The vehicle was subsequently searched, and Bullis, who was driving, was found to be in possession of more than three grams of fentanyl in pill form.

She also disobeyed commands from officers and resisted when being placed in handcuffs.

Ellis, who was riding in the back seat, was found to be in possession of more than 700 suspected fentanyl pills, and Paddock, who was riding in the front seat, was found to be in possession of more than 1,000 fentanyl pills.

The three were subsequently arrested and charged -- Bullis with felony possession and interference with a peace officer and Ellis and Paddock with felony manufacture and delivery.

Bullis' bond was set at $3,000 cash, Ellis' at $10,000 cash, and Paddock's at $5,000 cash.

The trio's preliminary hearings are scheduled for next Monday, May 22, at 9:30 a.m. in Laramie County Circuit Court.
